Investigations and Reporting
We carry out forensic and other investigations on existing buildings (structure and facade) and provide technical reports.
It is important that our clients understand the issues involved with their project so they can make informed decisions that are solution based, practical and financially viable. We provide technical reports written so that a non technical person can understand them.
Investigation types include:
- Diagnosis of problems such as damage due to water ingress, partial collapse, undermining, concrete cancer, cracking, subsidence and migrating or rising damp.
- Condition of facade components; estimates of design life; review of leaks; assess potential improvements, repair options and specifications.
- Investigations and reporting for legal practitioners or insurance claims.
- Condition inspections for feasibility studies to determine whether a building can be modified
- Due diligence reviews prior to sale/purchase of all building types
- Pre-purchase inspections of housing
